My passion in the beauty industry started at age 5 when I realized that I loved to play with my dolls’ hair. After not being satisfied with the dolls’ hairstyle, I decided to cut it and style it to my own liking. After not having any more dolls to give “makeovers”, my next clients were my 2 sisters. I gave them a new hairstyle every day from my own imagination. Not only did I give my sisters new hairstyles, but also designed and made clothes for them to compliment their new look. After receiving my university degree in Child Psychology and working in the field for many years, I realized that my true passion was in the creative arts, specifically cosmetology. By working in the beauty industry for over 20 years, I have developed many great relationships with industry professionals and most importantly, wonderful clients who give me the satisfaction to come to work each day. Salon Bravissimo’s management and staff, along with the fantastic, professional, and artistic work environment, inspire me to be more creative and passionate for my art.
Behnaz is an experienced master hair stylist. She has also received extensive training in skin beauty with an emphasis on permanent cosmetics. Her advanced haircutting education includes Trevor Sorbie International, Toni & Guy, and the Vidal Sassoon Academies of Santa Monica, London and San Francisco. She has found her passion in the hair industry with hair cutting, hair coloring, highlighting, lowlighting, and the Keratin Smoothing Therapy by Coppola. Behnaz provides specialized services that smooth, replenish and repair hair that enhances everyday hair health and beauty for her clients. Behnaz is passionate about education and she constantly increases her knowledge and skills by attending continuous education courses to learn state of the art hair cutting, hair coloring, and highlighting techniques.
